Now, you may be wondering why I chose such a classic example of the objectification of women? I do love Danzig, I did name my cat after him, but more importantly, I think it is a good example of our culture and how it views beauty; the rock video (more so now, the hip-hop video), the undeniable, shoved-down-throat view of sex, and the tattoo on the rump - although not the best of choices- is no longer looked at as shocking. All the while, Danzig pumps and flexes his muscles, expressing his view of what women find pleasing (or maybe his way of dealing with his short man's complex...) Either way, this video is a classic example of modern ideas of sex and beauty which are intertwined with this concept of "Radical Romance" most profoundly.
